Premium Extra Virgin Olive Oil from Jaén with an intense green fruitiness. It has an aroma of fresh grass, tomato, green apple, and olive leaf. On the palate, it is slightly bitter with a more intense spicy touch.
The hojiblanca olive variety is usually used for table olives but is also highly valued for oil production due to the good quality of its pulp. Additionally, this type of olive has many health benefits as it has a high content of oleic acid (75%). This monounsaturated fatty acid -from the omega 9 fatty acid family- helps to reduce blood pressure and LDL cholesterol (bad cholesterol), while increasing HDL cholesterol (good cholesterol).
