Premium Extra Virgin Olive Oil from Jaén (Spain) with an intense green fruitiness. It presents an aroma of fresh grass, tomato, green apple, and olive leaf. In the mouth it is slightly bitter with a more intense spicy touch.
The hojiblanca olive variety is usually used for table olives but it is also very appreciated for oil production due to the good quality of its pulp. In addition, this type of olive has many health benefits as it has a high oleic acid content (75%). This monounsaturated fatty acid -from the omega 9 fatty acid family- helps to reduce blood pressure and LDL cholesterol (bad cholesterol), increasing HDL cholesterol (good cholesterol).
