CHARACTERISTICS OF OUR OLIVE OILS ORO BAILÉN
Located in a unique enclave in the province of Jaén, Oro Bailén produces oils with unique and peculiar fruity and aromatic notes that give them a very marked personality and a perfect balance between fruity, bitter and spicy. Buying Oro Bailén olive oil online is synonymous with quality, as its liquid gold has been recognised in the best national and international awards in the sector.
The olive groves from which its prized oil is obtained are located at the gateway to Andalusia, at an altitude of 400 metres above sea level, on the border between the Meseta and the Guadalquivir Valley. Here, we find the optimum climate, provided by its geographical location between the countryside of the Guadalquivir River and Sierra Morena, for obtaining oils with a special aromatic quality. Within its premium range, we find picual, arbequina, hojiblanca and frantoio olive oils.
WHY CONSUME ORO BAILÉN EXTRA VIRGIN OLIVE OILS?
Oro Bailén has a long history and experience in the olive sector (currently third generation). In 2002, its producers decided to create a new line of high quality olive oil production, where it has recently obtained the Jaén Selección 2023 label with its Oro Bailén Picual bottle, a bright green colour, with intense fresh olive fruitiness and a great complexity of herbaceous and fruity aromas, with green banana, almond and green tomato standing out. In the mouth it is sweet and slightly spicy. In Olivarte you can buy Oro Bailén picual olive oil in different formats.
Oro Bailén makes different varieties of oil to suit all tastes. For those who enjoy more intense flavours, Oro Bailén Picual, Oro Bailén Frantoio and its hojiblanca oil will surprise you. However, if you prefer milder flavours, Oro Bailén arbequina oil would be your best option as it has a medium fruity fresh olive, with green aromas of herbs and green wheat interspersed between the characteristic fruity notes of arbequina; almond, apple and ripe banana stand out. It is progressive on the palate, with a smooth and delicate entry, a very light bitterness afterwards and a slightly noticeable presence of spiciness. It is harmonious and the aftertaste is almondy.

PRICES OF THE OILS ORO BAILÉN
The price of Oro Bailén oils -and in general of early harvest extra virgin olive oils- are higher compared to other olive oils, mainly due to the yield of the olives since, for the production of early harvest oil, which is usually produced at the end of October or beginning of November, the yield of the olive is lower. To this must be added the process of selecting the olive tree under the supervision of experts in order to obtain premium oil and the more costly processes involved in producing quality extra virgin olive oil.
